The upper estimate was set at a - in retrospect quite modest - GBP 1,500.00 but the actual price achieved was more than th However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anne Mee - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Portrait Of Captain And Lieutenant-Colonel Thomas Grosvenor (1764-1851), which sold at auction in April 2008 for GBP 19,700.00 (€ 25,114.72).
