The work Buffet II by Anna Weyant was worth USD 730,800.00 (€ 681,017.61) to a buyer in May last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale at Phillips in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 150,000.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anna Weyant - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Falling Woman, which sold at auction in May last year for USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).

Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale bei Phillips in New York erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von USD 150.000,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Anna Weyant mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Falling Woman beobachtet, die im Mai letzten Jahres für USD 1.623.000,00 (€ 1.512.440,59) versteigert wurde.
