This artwork by Anna Weyant achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in London in June last year. In the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale auction, the work Bath Time sold for GBP 226,800.00 (€ 263,477.08) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Anna Weyant have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Falling Woman in May last year with an auction result of USD 1,623,000.00 (€ 1,512,440.59).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Anna Weyant erzielte im Juni letzten Jahres bei Phillips in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Evening Sale wurde die Arbeit Bath Time für GBP 226.800,00 (€ 263.477,08) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 120.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Anna Weyant auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Falling Woman im Mai letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.623.000,00 (€ 1.512.440,59).
