This price was achieved in the auction Impressionist & Modern Art Day Sale at Sothebys in New York and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Anna Güntner; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot "Sonet" sold at auction in November last year with the realized price of SEK 540,000.00 (€ 49,224.06).
