The work Circus Of Doraemon by Angki Purbandono was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings auction at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2011. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 56,250.00 (€ 5,194.67), 25% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Angki Purbandono - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series), which sold at auction in May 2012 for HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,068.42).

Die Arbeit Circus Of Doraemon von Angki Purbandono wurde im Oktober 2011 in der Auktion Modern & Contemporary Southeast Asian Paintings bei Sothebys in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 56.250,00 (€ 5.194,67) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Angki Purbandono mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Golden Dragon (Noodle Theory Series) beobachtet, die im Mai 2012 für HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.068,42) versteigert wurde.
