In October 2010 Phillips in London held the auction Contemporary Art Day Sale, which included the work Red Chance Corner Piece by Angela Bulloch. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 8,750.00 (€ 10,088.89), 25% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Angela Bulloch have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Copper 4 in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 37,500.00 (€ 43,525.12).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Oktober 2010 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Contemporary Art Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Red Chance Corner Piece von Angela Bulloch zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 10.088,89) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Angela Bulloch auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Copper 4 im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.500,00 (€ 43.525,12).
