Auction result well in line with expectations
In May last year Christies in Paris held the auction Art contemporain - vente online, which included the work Impérial by Angel Otero. The price achieved of EUR 4,410.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Angel Otero achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Figuring You Out in November last year with an auction result of USD 327,600.00 (€ 317,349.61).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai letzten Jahres führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Art contemporain - vente online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Impérial von Angel Otero zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.410,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Angel Otero erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Figuring You Out im November letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 327.600,00 (€ 317.349,61).
