In December 2021 Sothebys in Zurich held the auction The Swiss Fine Art Sale, which included the work Averted, 2015 by Andy Denzler. The »bidding war« ended at CHF 23,940.00 (€ 23,125.64), 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Andy Denzler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Whisper Noise II in March last year with an auction result of GBP 176,400.00 (€ 209,142.05).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Dezember 2021 führte Sothebys in Zürich die Auktion The Swiss Fine Art Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Averted, 2015 von Andy Denzler zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von CHF 23.940,00 (€ 23.125,64) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andy Denzler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Whisper Noise II im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 176.400,00 (€ 209.142,05).
