The work William F Readdy by Andrew Grassie was sold in the Contemporary Art Online auction at Sothebys in London in July 2018. The result of GBP 6,000.00 (€ 6,727.32) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Andrew Grassie have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Courtauld Institute in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 67,000.00 (€ 43,059.13).

Die Arbeit William F Readdy von Andrew Grassie wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Contemporary Art Online bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von GBP 6.000,00 (€ 6.727,32) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrew Grassie auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Courtauld Institute im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 67.000,00 (€ 43.059,13).
