Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Andrew Dadson could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in December 2019 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Contemporary Art Online | New York auction, the work Piece changed hands for USD 1,625.00 (€ 1,447.40) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrew Dadson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Painting Promo, 2014 in February 2020 with an auction result of USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,743.76).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Andrew Dadson konnte im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Contemporary Art Online | New York wechselte die Arbeit Piece für USD 1.625,00 (€ 1.447,40) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrew Dadson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Painting Promo, 2014 im Februar 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 25.075,00 (€ 22.743,76).
