Auction result well in line with expectations
The work American Moon by Andrew Dadson was auctioned at Phillips in an online auction in September 2020. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 11,250.00 (€ 9,600.61) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Andrew Dadson - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Painting Promo, 2014, which sold at auction in February 2020 for USD 25,075.00 (€ 22,743.76).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit American Moon von Andrew Dadson kam im September 2020 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 11.250,00 (€ 9.600,61) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
