Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work 'Untitled X (Ejaculate in Trajectory)' by Andres Serrano was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 5,292.00 (€ 5,022.30). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andres Serrano achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Piss Christ in November 2011 with an auction result of USD 314,500.00 (€ 233,776.85).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit 'Untitled X (Ejaculate in Trajectory)' von Andres Serrano kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 5.292,00 (€ 5.022,30) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andres Serrano erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Piss Christ im November 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 314.500,00 (€ 233.776,85).
