Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2011 Christies in Milan held the auction Old Master Pictures, which included the work Paesaggio fluviale con lavandaie e pastori by Andrea Locatelli. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 150,000.00 – 250,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 169,640.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Andrea Locatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Roman Forum in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 829,311.27).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2011 führte Christies in Mailand die Auktion Old Master Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Paesaggio fluviale con lavandaie e pastori von Andrea Locatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 150.000,00 – 250.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 169.640,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrea Locatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Roman Forum im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.082.500,00 (€ 829.311,27).
