Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Landscape With A Fisherman And A Female Figure By A River by Andrea Locatelli was auctioned at Sothebys in London in May 2018, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 7,500.00 (€ 8,540.49). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Locatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Roman Forum in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 829,311.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Landscape With A Fisherman And A Female Figure By A River von Andrea Locatelli im Mai 2018 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 7.500,00 (€ 8.540,49) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Locatelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Roman Forum im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.082.500,00 (€ 829.311,27).
