Admittedly, works by Andrea Locatelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Roman Forum in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 829,311.27).

Im November 2015 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Old Masters & 19th CenturyArt - (including Dutch Impressionism) durch, in der auch die Arbeit A Pastoral Landscape With A Family Travelling On Horseback And Figures Resting In The Foreground, Shepherds And Other Figures On The Path Beyond, A Town Wall On The River Bank In The Distance von Andrea Locatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 91.500,00 und damit 53% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Andrea Locatelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Roman Forum im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.082.500,00 (€ 829.311,27).
