Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Bandits In A Rocky Landscape: A Pair by Andrea Locatelli was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in January 2017. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,125.00 (€ 7,527.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Locatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Roman Forum in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 829,311.27).

Die Arbeit Bandits In A Rocky Landscape: A Pair von Andrea Locatelli kam im Januar 2017 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.125,00 (€ 7.527,33) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
