Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

In July 2014 Christies in London held the auction Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale, which included the work An Italianate landscape with figures resting by a stream near a ruined castle; and An Italianate landscape with herdsmen and their cattle and goats by a stream by Andrea Locatelli. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 60,000.00 (€ 75,678.86), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Locatelli achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Roman Forum in January 2012 with an auction result of USD 1,082,500.00 (€ 829,311.27).

Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen

Im Juli 2014 führte Christies in London die Auktion Old Master & British Paintings Day Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Italianate landscape with figures resting by a stream near a ruined castle; and An Italianate landscape with herdsmen and their cattle and goats by a stream von Andrea Locatelli zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 60.000,00 (€ 75.678,86) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Andrea Locatelli erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Roman Forum im Januar 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.082.500,00 (€ 829.311,27).
