Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Three Separate Studies: A Lunette With The Marriage Of Jupiter And Juno; A Scene From Roman History With Women, Children And Soldiers Pleading In Front Of An Army; Apollo And A Nymph by Andrea Appiani was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2008. The price achieved of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 6,352.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Andrea Appiani achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Napoleon Bonaparte (1769-1821), as First Consul, three-quarter-length, holding a sabre in June 2004 with an auction result of USD 769,100.00 (€ 631,496.84).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Three Separate Studies: A Lunette With The Marriage Of Jupiter And Juno; A Scene From Roman History With Women, Children And Soldiers Pleading In Front Of An Army; Apollo And A Nymph von Andrea Appiani kam im Juli 2008 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion.
