Auction result well in line with expectations
In May this year Artcurial held the auction Limited Edition, which included the work Pablo Picasso - Vallauris, octobre 1953 by André Villers. The price achieved of EUR 1,837.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by André Villers achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Young Gentleman, In Grey Silk Coat With Large Buttons Engraved With The Initials A And G Respectively, Turquoise And Yellow Striped Waistcoat, Frilled White Shirt And Knotted Scarf, Powdered Hair in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 14,400.00 (€ 21,384.45).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Limited Edition durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pablo Picasso - Vallauris, octobre 1953 von André Villers zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.837,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von André Villers erzielen.
