This artwork by André Marchand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in New York in October 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art auction, the work Paysage En Bourgogne, Le Soir sold for USD 2,772.00 (€ 2,380.01) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by André Marchand have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work L'otage in September 2010 with an auction result of EUR 13,750.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 85 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von André Marchand erzielte im Oktober 2020 bei Sothebys in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art wurde die Arbeit Paysage En Bourgogne, Le Soir für USD 2.772,00 (€ 2.380,01) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Marchand auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit L'otage im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 13.750,00.
