This artwork by André Marchand achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in Paris in December 2020. In the Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale auction, the work Jeune Fille Au Mur Jaune sold for EUR 8,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 3,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by André Marchand; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot L'otage sold at auction in September 2010 with the realized price of EUR 13,750.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von André Marchand erzielte im Dezember 2020 bei Artcurial in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art - Day Sale wurde die Arbeit Jeune Fille Au Mur Jaune für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 3.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von André Marchand; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit L'otage im September 2010 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 13.750,00.
