The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,240.00 56% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by André Barelier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Cabine téléphonique in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.

Die Arbeit Cabine Telephonique - 1974 von André Barelier wurde im Oktober 2017 in der Auktion Paul Lombard Collection bei Artcurial in Paris versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.240,00 und damit 56% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Barelier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Cabine téléphonique im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
