Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2008 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Abstract & Contemporary Art, which included the work Hommage, 1989 by André Barelier. The price achieved of EUR 7,063.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by André Barelier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work La Cabine téléphonique in June 2017 with an auction result of EUR 40,000.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2008 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Abstract & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Hommage, 1989 von André Barelier zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 7.063,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von André Barelier auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit La Cabine téléphonique im Juni 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 40.000,00.
