Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Anders Leonard Zorn achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January 2024. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work The Waltz sold for USD 7,040.00 (€ 6,152.77) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Anders Leonard Zorn achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) in December 2021 with an auction result of SEK 30,000,000.00 (€ 2,926,312.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Anders Leonard Zorn erzielte im Januar 2024 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit The Waltz für USD 7.040,00 (€ 6.152,77) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Anders Leonard Zorn erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Söndagsmorgon" (Sunday morning) im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 30.000.000,00 (€ 2.926.312,07).
