The work Hollyhocks by Anatoly Shapovalov was auctioned at Christies in London in October 2010. It achieved a price of GBP 1,625.00 (€ 1,873.65), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 35%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Shapovalov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before The Performance, which sold at auction in May 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).

Die Arbeit Hollyhocks von Anatoly Shapovalov kam im Oktober 2010 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 1.625,00 (€ 1.873,65) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Before The Performance beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44) versteigert wurde.
