Auction result well in line with expectations
In August 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work Autumnal harvest by Anatoly Shapovalov. The price achieved of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,773.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Anatoly Shapovalov - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Before The Performance, which sold at auction in May 2006 for GBP 4,800.00 (€ 7,006.44).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Autumnal harvest von Anatoly Shapovalov zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.200,00 (€ 1.773,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Anatoly Shapovalov mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Before The Performance beobachtet, die im Mai 2006 für GBP 4.800,00 (€ 7.006,44) versteigert wurde.
