Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Study for Sculpture - The Three Graces (Fig.I) by Ana Maria Pacheco was sold in the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction at Christies in Paris in July this year. The price achieved of GBP 4,032.00 (€ 4,704.12) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ana Maria Pacheco - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Head, which sold at auction in May 2007 for GBP 6,600.00 (€ 9,712.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Study for Sculpture - The Three Graces (Fig.I) von Ana Maria Pacheco wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online bei Christies in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.032,00 (€ 4.704,12) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Ana Maria Pacheco mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Head beobachtet, die im Mai 2007 für GBP 6.600,00 (€ 9.712,35) versteigert wurde.
