Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Untitled Proximity Still Life (Judy Woo) by Amanda Ross-Ho was auctioned at Sothebys in London in September 2017, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,672.56). Other works by Amanda Ross-Ho have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in May 2013 by the work Sieve at USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,624.27).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Untitled Proximity Still Life (Judy Woo) von Amanda Ross-Ho im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 5.000,00 (€ 5.672,56) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Amanda Ross-Ho wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Mai 2013 die Arbeit Sieve mit USD 12.500,00 (€ 9.624,27).
