Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Offset Composition (Treble Cleff) by Amanda Ross-Ho was sold in the First Open Online: Post-War and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in New York in December 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,836.94) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Amanda Ross-Ho - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sieve, which sold at auction in May 2013 for USD 12,500.00 (€ 9,624.27).
