This artwork by Alphonse Birck achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in February 2015. In the Regard sur l’Algérie auction, the work Cavaliers sold for EUR 2,990.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alphonse Birck; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Discussion Près Du Puit sold at auction in May 2015 with the realized price of EUR 5,850.00.

Dieses Kunstwerk von Alphonse Birck erzielte im Februar 2015 bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Regard sur l’Algérie wurde die Arbeit Cavaliers für EUR 2.990,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alphonse Birck; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Discussion Près Du Puit im Mai 2015 mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 5.850,00.
