Auction result misses estimated price range
In May this year a collector was able to acquire the work Algerische Tänzerin mit und Tambourin by Alphonse Birck for EUR 1,890.00. This price was achieved in the auction Alte Kunst at Lempertz in Cologne and was even below the estimate range of EUR 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alphonse Birck - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Discussion Près Du Puit, which sold at auction in May 2015 for EUR 5,850.00.

Für andere Arbeiten von Alphonse Birck mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Discussion Près Du Puit beobachtet, die im Mai 2015 für EUR 5.850,00 versteigert wurde.
