Auction result well in line with expectations
In June this year Artcurial held the auction Orientalism Online, which included the work Marchand de fruits dans la casbah by Alphonse Birck. The price achieved of EUR 827.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 700.00 – 900.00. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Birck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Discussion Près Du Puit in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 5,850.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni diesen Jahres führte Artcurial die Auktion Orientalism Online durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marchand de fruits dans la casbah von Alphonse Birck zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 827,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 700,00 – 900,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Birck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Discussion Près Du Puit im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.850,00.
