The work Oasis de Bou Saâda by Alphonse Birck was sold in the Orientalism Online auction at Artcurial in June this year. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 1,443.00 60% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Alphonse Birck have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Discussion Près Du Puit in May 2015 with an auction result of EUR 5,850.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Oasis de Bou Saâda von Alphonse Birck wurde im Juni diesen Jahres in der Auktion Orientalism Online bei Artcurial versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 1.443,00 und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alphonse Birck auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Discussion Près Du Puit im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.850,00.
