The result of EUR 1,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Admittedly, works by Alfons Freymuth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.

Die Arbeit De Vlerk von Alfons Freymuth kam im September 2009 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 1.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfons Freymuth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
