A top price for Alfons Freymuth - as previously expected
In December 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Dutch Horta by Alfons Freymuth. The price achieved of EUR 5,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dutch Horta is the most expensive artwork by Alfons Freymuth that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis mit Ansage
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch Horta von Alfons Freymuth zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 5.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dutch Horta das teuerste Kunstwerk von Alfons Freymuth, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
