Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Alfons Freymuth could be acquired at Christies in Amsterdam in February 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings auction, the work Three heads changed hands for EUR 1,250.00 - missing the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alfons Freymuth have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen in December 2007 with an auction result of EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Alfons Freymuth konnte im Februar 2008 bei Christies in Amsterdam für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings wechselte die Arbeit Three heads für EUR 1.250,00 den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alfons Freymuth auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen im Dezember 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00.
