In March 2009 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Nineteen to Now - 'Art from the 19th, 20th & 21st centuries', which included the work Portret Van Raveel by Alfons Freymuth. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 4,375.00 25% above the upper estimate. Other works by Alfons Freymuth have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of EUR 5,250.00 in December 2007 for the work Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 4.375,00 und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Alfons Freymuth haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von EUR 5.250,00 im Dezember 2007 für die Arbeit Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen beobachtet.
