Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours, which included the work Dansende Meisjes by Alfons Freymuth. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,875.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,500.00 – 2,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfons Freymuth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 5,250.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Paintings, Drawings and Watercolours durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dansende Meisjes von Alfons Freymuth zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.875,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.500,00 – 2.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfons Freymuth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
