In February 2008 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings, which included the work Landschap, kop en maan by Alfons Freymuth. The result of EUR 2,500.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Alfons Freymuth - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen, which sold at auction in December 2007 for EUR 5,250.00.
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Im Februar 2008 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion Pictures,Watercolours and Drawings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landschap, kop en maan von Alfons Freymuth zur Versteigerung kam. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 2.500,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Alfons Freymuth mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Dutch Liggend Naakt, Vrij Naar De Droom Van Lucassen beobachtet, die im Dezember 2007 für EUR 5.250,00 versteigert wurde.
