Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Green Gardens by Allison Zuckerman was worth GBP 163,800.00 (€ 194,203.34) to a buyer in March last year. This price was achieved in the auction 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale at Phillips in London and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 50,000.00 many times over. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Allison Zuckerman; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Woodland Muse sold at auction in October 2021 with the realized price of USD 250,000.00 (€ 216,412.74).
