It achieved a price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 58,595.06), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 67%. Admittedly, works by Allan Ramsay have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Portrait of Anne, Lady North (c. 1740-1797), wife of Frederick North, 2nd Baron North, three-quarter-length, in a pink dress and lace shawl with roses at her décolletage, and a lace headdress, by a column in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 421,250.00 (€ 535,202.87).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 50.000,00 (€ 58.595,06) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 67%.
