In July 2013 Christies in London held the auction Old Masters & British Paintings, which included the work Portrait of Edward Medley, of Conyborough, half-length, in a mauve coat and white neckcloth, in a sculpted oval; and Portrait of Sarah Medley, neé Ward, half-length, in a white dress with a pink ribbon and a turquoise coat, waring a pearl choker nec by Allan Ramsay. The result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,426.74) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan Ramsay achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait of Anne, Lady North (c. 1740-1797), wife of Frederick North, 2nd Baron North, three-quarter-length, in a pink dress and lace shawl with roses at her décolletage, and a lace headdress, by a column in July 2008 with an auction result of GBP 421,250.00 (€ 535,202.87).

Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait of Anne, Lady North (c. 1740-1797), wife of Frederick North, 2nd Baron North, three-quarter-length, in a pink dress and lace shawl with roses at her décolletage, and a lace headdress, by a column im Juli 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis
