Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Storyteller by Allan Houser was sold in the Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction at Christies in New York in March 2010. The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,393.17) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allan Houser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
