Auction result well in line with expectations
In August last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction Modern Native American Art, which included the work "Listen," 1990 by Allan Houser. It changed hands for a price of USD 19,125.00 (€ 19,001.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Other works by Allan Houser have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2016 the work Forever was auctioned for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im August letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion Modern Native American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Listen," 1990 von Allan Houser zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 19.125,00 (€ 19.001,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Allan Houser konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2016 die Arbeit Forever für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07) versteigert.
