Auction result well in line with expectations
The work An Allan Houser Bronze, "Winter Silence," 1990 by Allan Houser was sold in the Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 8,287.50 (€ 7,023.31) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Allan Houser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).

Die Arbeit An Allan Houser Bronze, "Winter Silence," 1990 von Allan Houser wurde im August 2021 in der Auktion Modern Native American ArtFeaturing the Wendy and Les Fisher Collection of Canadian Inuit Sculpture bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 8.287,50 (€ 7.023,31) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
