Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 'Holders of Knowledge' by Allan Houser was auctioned at Christies in New York in September 2009. The price achieved of USD 10,625.00 (€ 7,262.47) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Allan Houser have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forever in December 2016 with an auction result of USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 'Holders of Knowledge' von Allan Houser kam im September 2009 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 10.625,00 (€ 7.262,47) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Allan Houser auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forever im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07).
