In March 2010 Christies in New York held the auction Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture, which included the work Apache Mother with Cradle Board by Allan Houser. The »bidding war« ended at USD 17,500.00 (€ 12,938.05), 46% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Allan Houser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Forever, which sold at auction in December 2016 for USD 35,000.00 (€ 33,169.07).

Im März 2010 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Fine American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture durch, in der auch die Arbeit Apache Mother with Cradle Board von Allan Houser zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 17.500,00 (€ 12.938,05) und damit 46% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Allan Houser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Forever beobachtet, die im Dezember 2016 für USD 35.000,00 (€ 33.169,07) versteigert wurde.
