Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November last year Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts held the auction Modern & Contemporary Art, which included the work Landscape by Allan D'Arcangelo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 18,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 19,000.00 (€ 18,405.50). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Allan D'Arcangelo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work U.S. Highway I, No. 4 in May 2008 with an auction result of USD 802,600.00 (€ 515,809.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts die Auktion Modern & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Landscape von Allan D'Arcangelo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 18.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 19.000,00 (€ 18.405,50) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Allan D'Arcangelo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit U.S. Highway I, No. 4 im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 802.600,00 (€ 515.809,77).
