In September 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Made in Britain, which included the work Marilyn'S Back, 2000 by Alison Jackson. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 10,625.00 (€ 12,305.07), 52% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Alison Jackson; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Princess Diana Gives The Finger, 1998 sold at auction in September 2019 with the realized price of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,978.11).

Im September 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Made in Britain durch, in der auch die Arbeit Marilyn'S Back, 2000 von Alison Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 10.625,00 (€ 12.305,07) und damit 52% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Alison Jackson; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Princess Diana Gives The Finger, 1998 im September 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.978,11).
