Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Marilyn Wanking', 2000 by Alison Jackson. The price achieved of GBP 4,788.00 (€ 5,570.95) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Alison Jackson have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Princess Diana Gives The Finger, 1998 in September 2019 with an auction result of GBP 21,250.00 (€ 23,978.11).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Marilyn Wanking', 2000 von Alison Jackson zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.788,00 (€ 5.570,95) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Alison Jackson auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Princess Diana Gives The Finger, 1998 im September 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 21.250,00 (€ 23.978,11).
